CHANDIGARH, AUG 25
Haryana Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, who is also the Chancellor of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, has appointed Dr. V.K. Jain, renowned skin specialist and Dean of the university as its Pro Vice Chancellor.
Dr. V.K Jain said that his first priority would be to redress the long standing grievances of doctors, employees and students of this institute. Besides, efforts would be made to give fillip to research activities in the University.
Meanwhile, the Haryana Government has appointed Justice (Retd.) Mr. Iqbal Singh, Punjab and Haryana High Court as Commissioner, Gurdwara Elections for a period of five years.
