Haryana School Teachers Selection Board has invited applications online for direct recruitment to posts of Assistant Professor for District Institute of Education and Training, BITE, Government Elementary Teacher Training Institutes and State Council of Educational Research and Training- HES-II (Group-B services) through the website of C-DAC, Mohali www.recruitment-portal.in .
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the applications could be submitted from September 8 to 28, 2014 till 5 p.m. The closing date for deposit of fee is October 1, 2014 up to 4p.m.
Referring to essential qualifications, he said that the candidates are required to have Masters Degree from a recognized university in the relevant school teaching subject with 55 per cent marks and the subject in which Post-graduation was done should be one of the subjects in Graduation.
He said that candidates should have 55 per cent marks in B.Ed or M.Ed from a recognized University. They should have qualified the National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test.
He said that there were 20 posts of Assistant Professor in Arts Education, 19 posts of Assistant Professor each in English, Hindi and Mathematics, 19 posts of Assistant Professor in Physical and Health Education, 14 posts in Sports, seven posts each in Physics and Chemistry, six posts in Political Science, five posts each in History, Geography and Economics, four posts in Botany, three posts in Zoology, and one post of Assistant Professor each in Sanskrit, Punjabi and Urdu.
