CM visiting Israel and UK to attract investment in Haryana

CHANDIGARH, MAY 6
The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that the aim of his seven-day tour to Israel and the United Kingdom is to increase investment in the state with an eye on making progress on the plans to develop the agriculture sector. 
        Replying to questions of media persons before leaving for seven-day tour to Israel and United Kingdom, at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi today, he said bringing more investment to the state ranked among top priorities of the state government. Several meetings have been scheduled at various levels during the visit, he added.
        Discussions would be held on various works being executed in the field of horticulture and micro irrigation with Israel. The action plan of 2017 has been further extended for a period of three years.
        The high level delegation led by the Chief Minister includes Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Kumar, MLA, Mr. Aseem Goyal, Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi, Principal OSD to Chief Minister, Mr. Neeraj Daftuar, Chairman, Foreign Investment and NRI Indian Cell, Dr. Ashwin Johar, Managing Director, Haryana Industrial and Infrastructure Develpoment Corporation, Mr. T.L. Satyaprakash, and Managing Director, HSIIDC, Mr. Manoj Pal Singh, besides personal assistant to the Chief Minister, Mr. Abhimanyu.
CM'S STAND ON OFFERING NAMAZ: The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has clarified that in his statement regarding offering Namaz at public places, he had never said anything regarding stopping anyone from offering Namaz.
       The Chief Minister was replying to a question raised by media persons regarding offering Namaz at public places, before leaving for seven-day tour to Israel and United Kingdom, at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, today.
        He said if anyone had any problem regarding offering Namaz at public places, he could inform the administration and the police. It is the responsibility of the administration and police to maintain law and order and the state government is bound to maintain peace, he added.
