CII delegation calls on Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar

CHANDIGARH, NOV 21 
 A delegation led by Mr. Sameer Gupta, Chairman of the Northern Region of the Federation of Indian Industry (CII) today met  Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and  congratulated him for becoming the Chief Minister of the State for the second consecutive time.
          During the meeting, the delegation held discussion with Chief Minister on the topics of employment, renewable energy, industry, economy, infrastructure etc. and informed about the various steps being taken by the Federation. On this occasion, Mr. Sameer Gupta also presented a copy of the vision document prepared by CII to the Chief Minister.
          Mr. Sameer Gupta told the Chief Minister that they want to work on renewable energy in the State, which will boost the pace of development in the State and an alternative of the energy can be developed. He further told the Chief Minister that they want to work on a pilot project with the government in the field of energy so that affordable energy can be prepared.  After this the Chief Minister directed the concerned officials present at the meeting to work together with the Federation and explore possibilities for this type of project.
          During the meeting, the Chief Minister informed the delegation that the State has improved its ranking in Ease-of-Doing-Business and in this case, Haryana is now at the first place in North India.  The Chief Minister further said that he wants to take the State to the forefront of development and in this direction his government is ready to give all possible support in the start-up sector.
          The delegation also expressed their willingness to work with cooperation in areas like electricity, water, pollution.
          The Chief Minister further told the delegation that that they want that new industries should be  set up in Haryana, but the youth of Haryana should also get employment in these industries. He said that providing job opportunities to the State youth is his priority, for which skill Development University has also been set up by the State Government in the Palwal district.
          Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Rajesh Khullar, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. V. Umashankar and Additional Chief Secretary Finance Department Mr. T.V.S.N and other CII officials were present in the meeting.
LAKHMA CONGRATULATES CM: The Chhattisgarh Commercial Tax (Excise), Commerce and Industry  Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma met Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today and congratulated him for becoming the Chief Minister of  the State for the second consecutive time.
          During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various topics including employment, agriculture, culture and industry as well as current political conditions. During the conversation, the Chief Minister shared his experiences of his stay in Chhattisgarh and said that he has spent a lot of time in Chhattisgarh and has seen most of the areas there.
          On this occasion, Mr. Lakhma appreciated the various schemes being run by the Haryana Government and said that such successful schemes will be repeated in Chhattisgarh. The Minister said that the hardworking and diligent people of Haryana are also contributing significantly to the development of Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, he also invited Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal for the upcoming National Tribal Dance Festival to be held in Raipur from December 27 to December 29, 2019.
