Obituary resolutions passed in Haryana Vidhan Sabha

CHANDIGARH,  NOV 5  
On the second day of the first session of newly elected Haryana Vidhan Sabha, obituary resolutions were passed to pay rich tributes to those prominent personalities who have expired between the period from the end of the previous session and the beginning of the current session.
     Leader of the House and Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal paid tributes and read out the obituary resolutions. These including former Union Ministers, former member of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, freedom fighters, martyrs of Haryana and close relatives of members of Haryana Vidhan Sabha. The members of House also observed a two minute silence to pay homage to the departed souls.
          Mr Gian Chand Gupta, Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha and Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Dushyant Chautala also read out the obituary resolutions and paid tributes to the departed souls.
          Leader of Opposition, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Mr Abhay Chautala also read obituary resolutions on behalf of their parties.
          Those who have been paid homage in the August House included former Union Ministers, Mrs Sushma Swaraj and Mr Arun Jaitely, former Member of Haryana Legislative Assembly, Mr Devi Dass.
          Tributes were also paid to the freedom fighter of Haryana namely Mr Amilal of village Meerpur, district Rewari and nine martyrs of the state who have showed indomitable courage and sacrificed their lives while safeguarding the unity and integrity of the country. These included  Major  Virender, village Khairani, district Mahendragarh, Captain Inderjeet, Ambala Cantt, district Ambala, Havildar Lilaram, village Berla, district Charkhi Dadri, Havildar Khursid Ahmed, village Raipuri, district Nuh, Lance Naik Krishan Kumar, village Kheri Khummar, district Jhajjar, Sepoy Satish Kumar,  village KIlrod, district Jhajjar, Sepoy Sandeep Kumar, Village Kaliawas, district Jhajjar, Sepoy Sunil Kumar, village Rajupur, district Gurugram and Sepoy Randeep, village Haryoli, district Ambala.
          Apart from this, the House placed on record its deep sense of sorrow on the sad demise of Mrs Sneh Lata, wife of former Chief Minister of Haryana, Ch. Om Prakash Chautala, Mrs Vidyavati, sister in law of Shri Krishan Hooda, MLA, Mr Sher Singh, uncle of Mr Om Prakash Yadav, MLA, Mr Dalchand Rawat, grandfather of Mr Kehar Singh Rawat, Ex MLA and Mr Sukhi Ram, father of Mr Randeep Singh, Ex MLA.
