Zila Parishad,
Kurukshetra of Haryana has bagged the Best Zila Parishad Award consecutively
for the second time for the year 2011-12 under Panchayat Empowerment and
Accountability Incentive Scheme of the Central Government.
While
stating this today, an official spokesman said that the award amounting to Rs
40 lakh would be given by Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh on the occasion of
Panchayati Raj Day on April 24 at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi.
