SIFT to give impetus to Haryana film industry

 Renowned actor Mr. Gufi Paintal said that the State Institute of Film and Television (SIFT), Rohtak would give a major impetus to Haryanvi Film Industry.

          Mr. Paintal who was in Rohtak today has all praise for the Director of the Institute Mr. Vikas Gupta for creating an atmosphere to promote artistic excellence in the state with the help of students of the institute and also famous film personalities associated with SIFT.  Director of the Institute cum Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak Mr. Vikas Gupta, Film Director Mr Shashi Ranjan, renowned theater artist Mr. M.K. Raina were also present on the occasion.

          Mr. Shashi Ranjan said that SIFT would prove to be a milestone in promoting Haryanvi Cinema. He said that there was no dearth of young talent in the State. However, there was a need to groom their inner personality and instill confidence in them to face the camera. He said that the attitude of people  especially of parents has been shifting steadily as they are encouraging their children to choose the field of their choice , which would increase enrollments in these institutions.

          Mr. M.K. Rana said that Haryanvi Film Industry could only be promoted when local talent comes forward to work in  regional cinema. Earlier also, the  Haryanvi regional films has made its presence felt in the artistic field. He hoped that due to the contribution of experienced people associated with the SIFT Institute, the Haryanvi Film Industry would get  a new energy.
