CM lauds services by OBC

The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda has appreciated the service being rendered by the Oriental Bank of Commerce to the people in the State and has assured all possible co-operation of the State Government to the bank.
          The Chief Minister was interacting with Chairman and Managing Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce, Mr S.L. Bansal who made a courtesy call Mr Hooda at his residence in New Delhi today. Mr Bansal was accompanied by Deputy General Manager of Oriental Bank of Commerce Rohtak, Mr S.L. Vijay. Rohtak MLA Mr Bharat Bhushan Batra was also present on this occasion.
Mr Bansal informed the Chief Minister that the Oriental Bank of Commerce is the only bank, which has its head office in Haryana at Gurgaon. It is the lead bank in district Palwal. The Bank has three Regional Offices in the State at Gurgaon, Rohtak and Karnal, with a total of 213 branches. Oriental Bank of Commerce was the operative bank, when Direct Benefit Scheme was launched at Ambala and Sonipat in the State. Mr Bansal said that the Bank has maximum business in Haryana and is further expanding activities in the State.
