Haryana Roadways to recruit 1500 drivers

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 5      
 About 1500 drivers will soon be recruited to expand the fleet of Haryana Roadways buses which is currently of 3850 buses and would increase to 4500.
          While stating this today, Director General Transport, Mr. Arun Kumar said that for this recruitment, proficiency test would be conducted between April 15  and May 31 at 10 different places namely Panchkula, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Murthal , Gurgaon, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Hisar, Rewari and Jhajjar. He said that tests would take place on all working days except on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. 
          He said that the proficiency test would  include Zig-Zag test, 8-shape Test, Dug Test and Road Test . Admit Cards of the candidates are being sent separately.  For conducting the proficiency test, 10 committees have been constituted. He said that a nominee from Head Office would also be present.  He said that the test would be simultaneously videographed. The result would be declared the same evening of the test. 
          He said that those candidates who would qualify the proficiency test would be called for interview and based on their performance they would be selected and inducted in the work force of Haryana Roadways.
