Seminar on “Emerging Frontiers for Spatial Planning

Institute for Spatial Planning and Environment Research, Panchkula, is organising a  two-day  seminar on “Emerging Frontiers For Spatial Planning: Development  of Human Resource for Promoting Real Estate and Property Management” at   Hotel Mapple, NH 8, Rajokri in Delhi on April 5 and 6.
On the first day it will be held from 9.30 am to 5 pm and on the second day up to 2 p.m. The other co hosts are Built Environment Research Institute, University of Ulster, UK and Association of Punjab Geographers.
Prominent speakers include Mr. Navin M Raheja, President ,NAREDCO; Mr Y S Malik, Financial Commissioner & Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Commerce &  IT , Govt of Haryana; Mr Anurag Rastogi, DG, Town & Country Planning Department;  Mr SS Dhillon, Principal Secretary, TCP, Professor Jim Berry, University of Ulster and Diana Fitzsimons, Director, Turley Associates, Belfast.
 The crucial issues are relating to procurement of land, its disposal, estate management procedures and the property management, which are integral and operational part of the total urban planning and development systems have not found adequate place in the human resources currently being developed for urban planning. Therefore to deliberate on the need and relevance of such integration, ISPER is organizing its 7th National seminar.
