Haryana appoint Divisional Commissioners

CHANDIGARH, JULY 4
The Haryana Government has appointed all the Divisional Commissioners in the state as Commissioner for Rehabilitation and Resettlement within their respective jurisdiction under Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Rehabilitation Act, 2013.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the State Government has also appointed all the Deputy Commissioners in the state as Administrator for Rehabilitation and Resettlement within their respective jurisdiction under the Act.
He said that similarly all the District Revenue Officers in the state who have passed the departmental examination and have attained the experience of working for a period of six months as Assistant Collector II Grade has been appointed as Land Acquisition Collector within their respective jurisdiction.
TWO IPS OFFICER TRANSFERRED: The Haryana Government has transferred two IPS officers with immediate effect.
Shrikant Jadhav, IGP, State Crime Record Bureau, Madhuban has been transferred as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Telecom and Rakesh Arya, SP, Telecom with additional charge of Assistant Inspector General of Police, Administration has been transferred as Superintendent Police (SP), PTC, Sunaria.
8000 NEW TUBE WELL CONNECTIONS: The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has targeted to release 8000 new tube well connections to farmers during the current financial year. Earlier, the Nigam had released as many as 9515 tube well connections against the target of 9174 during 2013-14.
A spokesman said here today that the maximum connections i.e. 2000 each will be released in Yamuna Nagar and Sonepat followed by 1000 in Karnal, 900 in Kaithal, 800 in Panipat, 600 in Rohtak, 300 in Jhajjar and 200 each in operation circle Kurukshetra and Ambala.
He said that the Nigam had released over 1700 new tube well connections during April and May, 2014. This was much ahead of the target fixed for two months. Efforts were on to release maximum tube well connections to the farmers for which necessary action has been initiated.
HAJ PILGRIMAGE: Haryana Haj Committee has asked the pilgrims residing in the State and intended to undertake Haj Pilgrimage-2014 to deposit the required fee in the account of Haj Committee, India, Mumbai as per the their category of accommodation by July 19, 2014.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of State Haj Committee, Haryana said that the intended pilgrims could deposit the fee in Account Number "FEE TYPE-25" OF Haj Committee, India, Mumbai through the core banking system.
He said that Haj Committee, India, Mumbai has also fixed the amount of foreign currency for the pilgrims of Haj-2014. Those Pilgrims who would go to Saudi Arab through the Delhi Airport would have to submit amount for foreign currency in addition to Rs. 81,000 already deposited by them. He said that for Green Category, they would have to deposit Rs. 1,13, 500 per person and for Ajijiya Category, they would be required to deposit Rs. 82,800 per person.
He said that those Haj Pilgrims who want to have change in their category of accommodation could send their application form to Haj Committee, India, Mumbai by July 10, 2014.
