CHANDIGARH, JULY 28
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will hold three-day Open Hearing or Camp Sitting at Chandigarh from October 29 to 31 to consider pending cases and discuss important human rights issues concerning the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh.
While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that the purpose of the open hearing is to consider the complaints of members belonging to Scheduled Castes who have grievances of an atrocity or negligence committed by a public servant or in prevention of atrocity.
He said that Chairperson, NHRC, Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan would inaugurate the Open Hearing on October 29 at 10 a.m. and it would continue up to 5 p.m. Similarly, the Full Commission would sit on the second day of the Open Hearing and meetings would be held with NGOs, Chief Secretaries, DGPs, and Senior Officers of the State Governments and UT on the last day of Open Hearing, he added.
PROGRESSION PAY STRUCTURE:Haryana Urban Local Bodies Department has decided to further improve the general Annual Career Progression pay structure of all class-III and IV employees working in Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees, Municipal Councils and Improvement Trusts thus bringing it at par with those of the government employees.
CABINET MEETING: Now Haryana Cabinet will meet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda on July 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. in Chandigarh instead of July 29.
DEEPAK AND PRAMOD PROMOTED: The Haryana government has promoted two Personal Assistants Deepak Suri and Pramod Nath Kashyap of Haryana Police to the post of Private Secretary.
SEVEN HCS OFFICERS TRANSFERRED: The Haryana Government has issued the transfer and posting orders of seven HCS officers with immediate effect. Mahavir Kaushik, Secretary Housing Board has been given the additional charge of Secretary Haryan Police Recruitment Board, Panchkula. Satbir Singh Jangu, Sub Divisional Officer (C), Narwana has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (C), Faridabad.
Sushil Kumar-I, Secretary Haryan Police Recruitment Board, Panchkula has been given the additional charge of Sub Divisional Officer (C), Narwana.
Ashok Kumar Bansal, Sub Divisional Officer (C)-Cum-Additonal Collector, Hisar has been given the additional charge of Estate Officer, HUDA, Hisar. Girish Kumar, City Magistrate, Fatehabad has been posted as City Magisteate, Hisar.
Parshant, City Magisteate, Hisar has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (C), Barwala. Dr. Kiran Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Kurukshetra Development Board, Kurukshetra has been posted as City Magistrate, Fatehabad. Posting order of Mukesh Kumar will be issued later on.
