Lt Gen Campose appreciates Haryana schemes for defence personnel

CHANDIGARH, JULY 29
Lt. General Philip Campose, AVSM, VSM, GoC-in-C Western Command has appreciated the number of schemes being implemented by Haryana Government for welfare of defence personnel and their dependents, especially the war widows.
          Lt. General Philip Campose was interacting with Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda as he called on him here today.
          Mr Hooda said that State Government is committed to the welfare of defence personnel and their dependents. The Chief Minister said that the nation is indebted to the supreme sacrifices made by the soldiers for safeguarding their motherland and added that state government would continue to look after the interest of defence personnel including ex-servicemen and their dependents.
            Lt. General thanked the Chief Minister for looking after the interests of the Defence community, especially the War Widows and  Army veterans as Haryana Government has recently announced a number of welfare schemes for the war widows and the defence personnel.
 REGULARISATION OF CONTRATULAL EMPLOYEES: – Haryana Government has asked all the Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Commissioners of all Divisions, Deputy Commissioners and Registrars of the Universities in the State to submit information regarding contractual employees of Group ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ category who have been regularized under the recent regularization policy.
          In a circular issued by the office of Chief Secretary, they have been asked to send the information last by July 30.
RELEASE OF PAYMENT TO LAB ASSISTANTS: Chandigarh, July 29 – Haryana School Education Department has directed all concerned District Education Officers, Block Education Officers, Principals and Heads of the institutions to immediately release payment of dues to Lab Assistants deployed in the ICT labs in the state.
            While stating this here today, a spokesman of department said that they have been asked to mark attendance of Lab Assistants in a proper register for transparency of reference and record. He said that amount of Rs.18000 transferred to the account of the Principals or Heads of respective schools in their RMSA Account is for the period from September 2012 to February 2013. This should be released to Lab Assistants immediately, based on the attendance record available in school. He said that Lab Assistants have been deployed in the ICT labs set up by M/s CORE Education and Technologies limited.
Ch. BANSI LAL UNIVERSITY: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will lay the foundation stone of Ch. Bansi Lal University at Bhiwani on July 30.
            While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister would also address a public meeting the same day at Government College Complex, Bhiwani and would also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of some other developmental projects involving an investment of about Rs 50.40 crore in the district.
            He said that in Tosham, Mr. Hooda would inaugurate Mini Secretariat building, Aarohi Government Senior Secondary School and Kasturba Gandhi Government Senior Secondary School.  He would also lay the foundation stone of Government Hospital in Tosham.
          The Chief Minister would also dedicate the Primary Health Centre, Biran to the people of the area. He would also inaugurate a Power House at Dhani Mahu, Gymnasium Hall and Astroturf hockey ground at Bhim Stadium, Bhiwani. He will also lay the foundation stone of Primary Health Centre at Jui in Bhiwani.
