The Haryana Government has appointed Shakuntla Jakhu Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster management and Consolidation Departments as Chief Secretary, General Administration, Personnel Training, Vigilance, Parliamentary Affairs and Administrative Reforms Departments and Secretary in-charge of Plan Coordination vice S.C. Choudhary retiring on July 31, 2014.
Y.S. Malik Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce, Mines and Geology, Electronics and Information Technology and Forests and Wild Life Department becomes Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster management and Consolidation Departments. He will look after the works of Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce, Mines and Geology, Electronics and Information Technology Departments.
Roshan Lal, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department will be new Additional Chief Secretary Home, Jails, Criminal Investigation and Administration of Justice Departments vice P.K. Gupta who has proceeded on leave. Mr. Roshan will look after the works of Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department.
Mahavir Singh, Principal Secretary Environment Department has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary Public Health Engineering Department.
T. C. Gupta, Principal Secretary, Town and Country Planning and Urban Estates Departments has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Forests and Wild Life Department relieving Y. S. Malik of the said charge.
