Haryana Cabinet will meet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal at Committee Room, 4th Floor, Haryana Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh on October 18, 2016 at 11 a.m.
Meanwhile, Mr Manohar Lal has urged the people to take inspiration from the life and deeds of Samrat Hem Chandra Vikramaditya, whose 461st Delhi Rajyabhishek Diwas is being celebrated tomorrow.
In a message issued here today, Mr Manohar Lal said that Samrat Hem Chandra Vikramaditya, popularly known as Hemu, was a brave son of Haryana, who had played a vital role in the second battle of Panipat.
He said that Samrat Hem Chandra Vikramaditya always fought valiantly against the enemy in the battlefield and never cared for his own life. The Chief Minister urged every Indian to remember the great warrior.
ENTRANCE EXAMS RESCHEDULED: The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam-2017 has been rescheduled for January 15, 2017 instead of January 8, 2017 due to administrative reasons.
This was stated by a spokesman of Sainik School, Kunjpura in district Karnal.
15 INSPECTORS PROMOTED: Haryana Government has promoted 15 Inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) with immediate effect.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that they included Manjit Singh, Raj Singh, Randhir Singh, Baljeet Singh, Jai Singh, Satender Kumar, Nar Singh, Jagbir Singh, Gajender Singh, Sushil Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Anil Kumar, Rohtash Singh, Mohinder Singh and Ranbir Singh.
Also, the Government has promoted Inspector, Mohinder Singh to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
PURCHASE OF STAFF CARS: The Haryana Government has issued instructions for purchase of staff cars or vehicles under its state policy for administration and purchase of staff cars or vehicles by its Departments, Boards and Corporations.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that as per the revised instructions, the Government has fixed the base model of Mahindra Bolero or Tata Sumo rather than ceiling price so that there would be no need to enhance the ceiling limits again.
He said that a written communication to this effect has been sent to all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments and Accountant General (A and E) and Audit, Haryana.
