164 developed residential, industrial and institutional sectors transferred to Urban Local Bodies

Haryana Chief Minister .Manohar Lal Khattar has approved the transfer of 164 developed residential, industrial and institutional sectors from Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) to eight Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) for their maintenance.
        While stating this here today, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs. Kavita Jain, said that these sectors would be transferred to the local bodies by April 30, 2016.
          Mrs. Kavita Jain, said that the ULBs would take up the work of maintenance of these sectors, including maintenance of water supply, sewerage, storm water, streetlights, roads and horticultural and sanitation services.
          She said that the ownership of the open spaces would be vested with the Urban Local Bodies. However, ownership of the land reserved for undetermined use and unsold sites of all types, including residential, institutional and commercial, would remain with Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA). Extension and transfer fee and other recoveries related to the plots would be recovered by HUDA. However, 75 per cent of the extension fee, building application fee and composition charges recovered by HUDA would be remitted to the local body that is municipality by the 15th day of the following month and 25 per cent would be retained by HUDA. The recovery of water and sewerage charges and property taxes would be recovered by the local body. The vehicles and machineries required for maintenance would also be transferred to the local body, she added.
          She said that in Gurgaon, residential sectors 3, 4, 5, 6(P), 7, 7 Extension, 7 HBC, 9, 9A, 10, 10A, 12A, 14, 17, 21, 22, 23, 23A, 27, 28, 30, 31, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 51, 52, 54, 55, 56 would be taken over by the ULBs. Similarly, industrial sectors 18, 37 P-I, 37 P-II, 33 T/Nagar and 34 EHTP and institutional sectors 32, 44 and 23 Part would be taken over by the ULBs.
          In Rewari, residential sectors 1-NMT, 3 and 4 would be taken over by the ULBs. In Dharuhera, residential sectors 4A, 6 P-I, 6 P-II and Industrial Area would be taken over. Residential sectors 1 (P-I and P-II) in Narnaul and MTS in Kosli would also be taken over by the ULBs.
          The Minister said that in Faridabad, residential sectors 2, 3, 21-C (P-III), 21-D, 30, 31, 45, 46 and 48 and industrial sectors 58 and 59 would be taken over by the ULBs. Residential sector 2 in Palwal, industrial area Phases I, II and II in Rojka-Meo, residential sectors 7, 12, 14, 15 and 23 in Sonepat and 7 in Gohana would also be taken over by the ULBs. Similarly, residential sectors 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 24 and 25 P-I and industrial sectors 25 P-II Housing, 29-I and 29-II (dying units) in Panipat would be taken over by the ULBs.
          She said that in Rohtak, residential sectors 1, 2, 3, 4, 4 Extn. And 14 government land would be taken over by the ULBs. Similarly, in Hissar, residential sectors Urban Estate-II (Sector 12), 13, 15, 16 and 17, Police Line Area Sector 15, Mela Ground Area Sector 21, 9, 11 and 14-P and industrial sectors 27 and 28A (Industrial Area) would be transferred to the ULBs. In Hansi, residential sectors M.T. Hansi and 6P-I would be transferred. Residential sectors 10, 11, 11 Extn., Diwankhana Land and M.T. Narwana would be transferred in Jind. Similarly, residential sectors 13, 23, M.T. Bhiwani and M.T. Bhiwani Khera and industrial sectors 21 and 26 (Industrial Area) would be transferred in Bhiwani.Similarly, residential sectors 3P-I and M.T. Area RCC-I and II in Fatehabad, M.T. Area in M.T. Bhattu, M.T. Area in Ratia and M.T. Area in Tohana would be transferred. In Sirsa, residential sectors 20-P-I and M.T. Area R-I, II, III, IV and V and Industrial Area I,II and III would be transferred. Residential sector R-I in M.T. Ellenabad, R-I in Kalanwali, Mandi Township Area in Dabwali and sectors 4-II, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8-II, 9, 9-II, 12-II,13, 13 Extn, 14-I, 14-II and 16 would be transferred.
          In Kaithal, residential sectors 19-I, 19-II, 20 and M.T. Kaithal would be transferred to ULBs. Similarly, residential sectors 1 Jail Land, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Ambala City, 32 and 34 in Ambala Cantt., 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 30 and 13 in Kurukshetra, 1 in Shahabad, 4 in Naraingarh, Mandi Township in Pehowa, 15-I, 17-I and 18-I in Jagadhari, Residential Area in Pundri and R-I, II and III in Gulla Cheeka would be transferred to ULBs.
          Mrs. Jain said that in Panchkula, roads, sanitation, streetlights, parks, internal sewerage and storm water drainage system of residential sectors 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 28 part-II would be handed over to the ULB. Apart from this, roads between sectors 7 and 18, 7 and 8, 5 and 6, 6 and 7, 1 and 6, 1 and 2, 20 and 21, 24 and 25, 25 and 26, 26 and 27 and 27 and 28 would also be handed over to the local body, she added.
