The newly appointed Director General of Haryana Police, Mr K.P.Singh today said that the professional efficiency of the State police would be further enhanced and the police personnel would be made more responsive to the law.
Mr K.P.Singh, who was addressing a press conference after assuming the charge of the Director General, said that the morale of the police personnel would be boosted.
In reply to a question concerning present challenges, Mr Singh described the State police as a brave and hardworking force which has already firmly dealt with many challenges like terrorism. The police force is fully competent to meet future challenges, he added.
He said that emphasis would also be laid on providing facilities to the police personnel and it would also be the priority to meet the requirement of man power and equipment.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Haryana Government has ordered that Vivek Saxena,IFS, Officer on Special Duty-cum-Chief General Manager, Haryana Forest Development Corporation, New Delhi will also be Additional Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, in addition to his present duties, against a vacant post. These orders have been issued with immediate effect.
