In Haryana, 10 cooperative sugar mills have recorded an average recovery of 10.01 per cent sugar till date during the current crushing season, as compared to 9.37 per cent recorded during the last crushing season.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad has recorded sugar recovery of 10.96 per cent, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal 10.85 per cent, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat 10.50 per cent and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal 10.10 per cent.
Similarly, the sugar recovery of Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has been recorded at 9.90 per cent, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana 9.80 per cent, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind 9.58 per cent, and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has recorded sugar recovery of 9.60 per cent. The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak has recorded sugar recovery of 9.23 per cent and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham 9.13 per cent.
The spokesman said that in the current crushing season, the State has so far produced over 28.60 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 288.81 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad has so far crushed a maximum of 55.05 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced over 5.98 lakh quintals sugar, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak which has crushed 39.34 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 3.54 lakh quintals sugar. Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has crushed 28.88 lakh quintals sugarcane and has produced over 2.88 lakh quintals of sugar. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana has crushed 28.14 lakh quintal of sugarcane and has produced over 2.72 lakh quintals of sugar.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has crushed 28.50 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 2.55 lakh quintals of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has crushed 25.50 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 2.73 lakh quintals of sugar. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has crushed 22.62 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 2.36 lakh quintals of sugar. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has crushed 23 lakh quintals sugarcane and has produced over 2.22 lakh quintals of sugar.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has crushed 20.39 lakh quintal of sugarcane and has produced over 1.90 lakh quintals of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has crushed 17.59 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 1.67 lakh quintals of sugar.

He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has crushed 28.50 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 2.55 lakh quintals of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has crushed 25.50 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 2.73 lakh quintals of sugar. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has crushed 22.62 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 2.36 lakh quintals of sugar. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has crushed 23 lakh quintals sugarcane and has produced over 2.22 lakh quintals of sugar.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has crushed 20.39 lakh quintal of sugarcane and has produced over 1.90 lakh quintals of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has crushed 17.59 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced over 1.67 lakh quintals of sugar.
