DCs directed to hold 'Kisan Darbars' every month

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 18
All the Deputy Commissioners in the State have been directed by Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal to hold ‘Kisan Darbars’ every month in their respective districts to redress grievances of farmers.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the event could also be used to promote crop practices and provide other relevant information to the farmers through exhibitions for the next month.
He said that instructions have also been issued to prepare a list of different departments to which the grievances of farmers could relate so as to resolve their problems promptly. 
GAZETTED HOLIDAY: The Haryana Government has declared Gazetted holiday on April 19 on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti instead of April 20, 2016, already notified.
          While stating this here today an official spokesman said that this holiday would also be observed under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
          He said that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved the proposal on the basis of a representation received from President Vishva Jain Sangathan, Delhi Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jain pointing out that the actual date of Mahavir Jayanti is April 19 and not April 20.
Haryana Government has given additional charge to two IAS officers with immediate effect.
    ADDITIONAL CHARGE:  Mr.Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary, Environment, Monitoring and Coordination Departments will also look after the work of Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment Department during the leave period of Mrs.Shashi Bala Gulati.
          Mrs.Renu S.Phulia, Managing Director, Haryana Land Reclamation Development Corporation Limited has also been given the charge of Secretary, Haryana State Human Rights Commission against a vacant post.

CM VISITS ANAJ MANDI:  Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal  today paid a surprise visit to Anaj Mandi in Rohtak to see for himself the ongoing procurement of wheat.
          He directed the concerned officers, who were present there,   to speed up the  lifting of wheat  from the mandis and ensure payment of arrears to farmers within next two days.
          The Chief Minister also interacted with Aarthis and got first hand information about the situation of procurement   at the level of government. He said that almost entire crop of Rabi Season has arrived in   different mandis across the State. The procurement is being made by the government agencies at Minimum Support Price, he added
