Neeraj Daftuar appointed OSD to CM

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 12
The Haryana Government today appointed Mr Neeraj Daftuar as an Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister.
He shall draw  a token  salary of Re one per month.      
A Communication Professional,a Strategist and an Entrepreneur, Mr. Neeraj Daftuar  has over two decades of rich experience in Strategic Planning, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Communication Solutions and Consulting. Mr.Daftuar has established himself as a result driven, resourceful professional with proven ability to develop and strengthen management teams in order to maximise company's profitability and efficiency. His strategic vision and aptness in identifying, developing and directing the implementation of business strategy has helped organizations to ensure their continuous upward curve and reputation in the market.
He holds a Masters degree from University of Delhi in History and is a proud recipient of Junior Research Scholarship (National Eligibility Test for Lecturer) from UGC in the year 1990.He started his career as a Marketing Manager in Audio Visual Arts, Kolkata where very soon he covered the market for making Documentaries, Movies and Television Serials. He rose to the position of Assistant Vice President in Inter Globe Financial Ltd. and there after became Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications of major players in NBFCs. He then came to Delhi as Regional Head (North) with Vibrant Media, a joint venture of Mudra Advertising and ABCL, the first Media Buying House.
A marketing professional with proven track record of game-changing strategies and results, he got associated with Him Urja (P) Limited and became its CEO.He contributed to the intellectual capital of every firm and acted as a point of advice and leadership for all employees of a company. In every company wherever he had worked he has always been an integral part of the business and its subsequent growth. He has extensive experience of project management, solving complex problems, establishing team structure and dealing with complex organisational change. He is also a very widely travelled person, both across the country as well as through places like USA, UK and Continental Europe.
