CHANDIGARH, APRIL 26
The Haryana Government has promoted 2109 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) of different subjects to the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in School Education Department, with immediate effect.
While stating this here today, Education Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma said that it was a long standing demand of TGTs, which has now been fulfilled. He said that more promotions would be made in the department in future and orders have been issued to all the District Education Officers to send the list of vacancies of   posts in their respective offices.
He said that government is making concerted efforts to improve the standard of education in government schools. The teachers should give their best in providing quality education to the students so as to make them responsible citizens, he added.
TRANSFER PERMISSION: Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has framed a transfer policy for granting transfer permission to nursing homes or clinics allotted before the year 1997 in the state.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of HUDA said that in case of first transfer for nursing home sites allotted, not auctioned, transfer fee would be charged at double the rate of the transfer fee rates of commercial sites that were allotted through auction.
For the second transfer, the rate for transfer of allotted Nursing Home sites, not auctioned, would be at par with commercial rates of transfer. At present, administrative charges of Rs. 5000 are applied for transfer of built up residential or commercial sites, where full payment has been made and conveyance deed has been executed by the allottee.
He said that the rates for transfer of residential or commercial sites, built up or not built, would be updated as per present rates. For future allotments, transfer permission can be allowed only in cases where the Nursing Home has been running for at least five years. However, vacant plots would not be allowed to be transferred. A minimum of 25 per cent built up area would be a pre-condition for transfer of nursing home sites, he added.
