Abhimanyu questions silence of Sonia and Rahul on Jat agitation

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 21
Haryana Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu today questioned Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi, Congress Vice-President Mr Rahul Gandhi, State Congress President Mr Ashok Tanwar and former Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda that why they remained silent on the role of the Congress during the recent reservation agitation in the State.
Capt. Abhimanyu, who  was addressing a press conference here today, also questioned as why Mr Rahul Gandhi, who has a habit of visiting the spot in the event of any small happening, remained mum when Haryana was burning.
While describing the incidents of arson at his house, school and other establishments in Rohtak during the recent reservation agitation as a political conspiracy, he said that the evidence  and proof which are emerging out of the investigation process clearly indicate a political conspiracy behind the whole incident. Those  who have come under the scanner of investigation, have a direct relation with a special group in that political party. He blamed that Congress was trying to use Sudeep Kalkal politically whereas Kalkal had also worked as Manager in an establishment of former Chief Minister. Apart from this, it was during the tenure of previous government that Sudeep Kalkal’s wife was given job as Professor in Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan and his mother-in-law was appointed as Member in Consumer Court, Sonipat. He made it clear that BJP has nothing to do with Kalkal.
Capt. Abhimanyu said that besides Political Advisor to former Chief Minister Prof Virender Singh, many other names have also   surfaced during the investigation. He said that Mr Hooda should also tell his relations with Mahender Hooda. Similarly, he also questioned the relation of Gaurav Budhwar with Congress spokesman Mr Krishan Moorti Hooda. Apart from this he also raised questions about Sombir and Jasbir of village Jasiya who remained posted as security personnel with Member Parliament, Rohtak Mr Deepender Hooda for ten years.
He said that suddenly more than 80 per cent people of an Assembly Constituency associated themselves with the reservation agitation whereas they have no association with different Jat reservation organizations for years. Similarly, incidents of arson and violence happened in Jhajjar and Beri whereas nothing   happened in Bahadurgarh and Badli. Likewise, incidents   occured in Kalanaur and Meham. He also questioned the role of public representatives of Gohana and Gannaur.
He said that the State Government has constituted Parkash Singh Commission to investigate the role of officers of police and civil administration in the Jat reservation agitation.  The Committee is investigating the facts and if found guilty, the State Government would not hesitate in taking action from the rank of Inspector General to Constable and officers of civil administration. The State Government’s intension is to present real facts before the people honestly. Judicial Commission has also been constituted, he added.
He said that he was deeply hurt on the death of innocent people during the agitation and also the loss to houses, shops and business establishments of thousands of people. He said that he has sympathy for all such people no matter which party they belonged to.
