CM launches website of Office of Advocate General

CHANDIGARH, April 13
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal   launched the website of the Office of Advocate General, Haryana, here today.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister was presented with a cheque of Rs 33,44,000 by Advocate General, Haryana Mr Baldev Raj Mahajan  for  Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.The amount has been contributed by Law Officers.
It was informed that hundred per cent filing of the cases for the State of Haryana is being done through e-filing system. Almost all pending cases have been entered in the E-diary, provided to this office by the  Punjab and Haryana High Court.E-library facility is also available with the office of Advocate General, Haryana.
With the launch  of this website,  entire information pertaining to the office of Advocate General  is now available on this web portal with the click of a button. It would facilitate the people to view the aims and objectives of this office and list of all former   Advocate Generals of Haryana along with their profile. Now  one can easily know the names and strength of the present Law Officers with their respective designations and supervisors of the respective Branches. Names of Law Officers with their respective designations, posted in the Legal Cell, Haryana at New Delhi are also available on this web portal.
All Rules and bye-laws, circulars and standing orders issued by the Office of Advocate General, Haryana from time to time, would be available on the web portal. Also, the names of Appellate Authority, Nodal Officer, State Public Information Officer, Assistant State Public Information Officer and assisting staff dealing with the RTI Act are also available on the Portal. Links for Case Management System and Legal Affair Reports have also been provided to the Law Officers posted at Chandigarh and Delhi.
