"Pagdi" gets exemption from entertainment duty.

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 19
The Haryana Government has decided to exempt the film ‘Pagdi: The Honour’ from entertainment duty.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that a proposal to this effect has been approved by Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal. The film would be released on April 22, 2016 in some States in the country.
He said that according to the producer of the film, Mr Rajiv Bhatia, the film has bagged four national and two international awards. He  said that the film was shot in villages around Hisar city. It reflects   Haryanvi traditions and customs.  It focuses on social awareness and eradication of social evils such as honour killing.
