Minister Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav has congratulated Shakuntala Bhagwadia and
Pawan Batala on being elected as Chairperson and Vice-Chairman of Municipal
Council, Rewari. He also expressed his gratitude to all the councilors
for unanimously electing Congress supported candidates on both seats.
It may be recalled that the post of Chairman in Municipal Council, Rewari was
lying vacant for the last about four years. After the elections held in the
month of February, yesterday the Chairperson and Vice-Chairman for the 31
members Municipal Council, Rewari has been elected. In the election, Congress
supported candidates had registered victory on 25 seats.
Capt. Yadav who is also MLA from Rewari said that now after the election of a
competent person as Chairman of Council, the development works in district
Rewari would further accelerate. He said that the policy of Congress Party aims
at the welfare of all sections of the society and with the assistance of all;
Rewari could become a model district in terms of development.
He said that the way, the people of Rewari had supported the Congress supported
candidates in the Municipal elections, it clearly indicates that they have
immense faith in the policies of the State Government and the Congress Party.
Capt. Yadav said that the faith of people of the State was in favour of
Congress Party and the day was no far when Congress would form Government in
the State for third consecutive term also. The Congress would complete hat-trik
of victories in Haryana hence would set a new record, he added.
