Haryana Vigilance Bureau
has recommended registration of criminal cases against five gazetted officers ,
one non-gazetted officer and departmental action against one gazetted officer
and four non-gazetted officers as they have been found guilty in the
investigations conducted by it recently.
Stating
this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that nine officials were
also caught red handed while accepting illegal gratification ranging
from Rs 1,000 to Rs. 20,000. Criminal cases have been registered against them
under Prevention of Corruption Act.
The
officials, who have been caught red handed included Vijay Kumar, Patwari
Halqa Sonepat and Avtar Singh, Kanoongo, Jind of Panchayat Department, Satvir
Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector, 140/Government Railway Police,
Gurgaon, Sunil Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector, 552/ Government
Railway Police, Gurgaon, Kuldeep Singh, Junior Engineer, DHVPNL, Fatehabad, Ved
Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Police Station, Narnaud, Hisar, Duli Ram,
Patwari, Indri, Karnal, Ram Dutt Sharma, Junior Engineer, Haryana Urban
Development Authority (HUDA), Kaithal and Puspender, Junior Engineer, Bijli
Department, Barwala, District Panchkula.
