Outsourching of services policy modified

by Haryananewswire
CHANDIGARH, MARCH 18
The Haryana Government has modified its  policy for engaging or outsourcing of services.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that it has now been decided that in emergent cases involving public interest where the sanctioned vacant posts of Group C and D categories exist, the persons can be engaged by sending requisition to the Employment Exchange and by advertisement in the newspapers.
He said that such persons would be engaged purely on contractual basis, initially for a period not exceeding six months or till the regularly selected candidates are appointed, whichever is earlier. They would be engaged on 50 per cent of  initial pay of the fresh entrant regular employee after January 1,2006 or on the wages fixed by the Deputy Commissioner under the Minimum Wages Act, whichever is higher.
