Haryana to adjust Govt-aided schools staff

The Haryana Government has decided to adjust the staff of Government aided schools and modalities for the same are being worked out.
          This was stated by Haryana Education Minister, Mrs Geeta Bhukkal while replying to a question asked by MLA Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar in the ongoing session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, here today.
          She said that a decision in this regard would soon be taken and those fulfilling the prescribed conditions would be considered. However, those managements of the schools who would not like to get this benefit, would not be forced.
          She said that there are 249 Government aided schools in the State and their strength of staff is 2639.
          In reply to another question asked by Mr Sampat Singh, she said that there are 5541 private schools in the State, out of which 2429 are such private schools that are yet to submit self declaration forms under the Right to Education Act to the State Educational Authorities. She said that no action has been taken against such defaulting schools and no school has been de-recognised.
