Performance day at Shemrock School

Shemrock Smiles Prep. School, MDC & Shemrock Bliss Prep. School, Pinjore held their performance day  “SCRIPT” at Atam Auditorium in Sector-1 here. Over 350 students in the age group of 2-6 years participated. The function began with the Saraswati vandana.
The children then welcomed the chief guest ADC Jagdeep Singh along with guests with a cheerful song “ Sunny Smiles”. This was followed by a wide array of performances and acts comprising all the aspects of arts.
Children  showcased the rich culture of India through  various folk dances like the  “Chirmi Dance”, “Punjabi Dance”, Nepalese Dance”, “ Rajasthani Dance”, etc. They also danced to the foot tapping western numbers like “It’s a beautiful world< Rhyhmics, Happy boys & girls, God’s love, Sa say the sunflowers, Tesu song and Nani teri Morni transported the guests back into their childhood. Tales of wit & wisdom of “Tenali Raman”, & “prudent Birbal” were also presented through role play.
The children’s performance was highly apprieciated by all the guests and parents as they took to the stage with great confidence & co-ordination.
 Earlier, the ceremonial lamp was enlightened by the chief guest Jagdeep Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner panchkula and the guest of honor Dr. B. Arora , founder director shamrock group of schools. The director Teenu Jolly appreciated the efforts done by the staff along with the students to make the performance day a grand success.
