Hooda clarifies stand on Centre's incentives to hilly areas of HP

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 6
Haryana Chief Minister  Bhupinder Singh Hooda today made it clear that Haryana is not creating any hindrance in the incentives being given to the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh under the economic package of the Central Government, but in fact Haryana is also urging the Centre to give similar incentives to the state for its hilly areas of Shivalik and Mewat.
          Mr.Hooda was interacting with the press lobby of the Vidhan Sabha today.
          When Mr.Hooda’s was attention was drawn towards the statement made by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr.Virbhadra Singh in Chandigarh today that Chief Ministers of Punjab and Haryana have been objecting to the special incentives being given to the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh, Mr.Hooda said that  the state has no objection if Himachal gets its package from Union Government. Mr.Hooda said that infact Haryana has demanded package for its own hilly areas.
