Haryana Police providing full assistance to Punjab Police in drug haul case

 Haryana Director General of Police, Mr. S.N. Vashisht today said that Haryana Police is providing full assistance to Punjab Police for the investigation of drug haul case in which the name of Olympian Vijender Singh has been cropped up.
          Mr. Vashisht said this after inaugurating multi-storey building for the Assistant Commissioner of Police level officers at Gurgaon today.
          He said that the State Government has approved 56,000 posts of police department and out of which only 3000 have been deployed on VVIP duty. He said that training is being provided to about 4000 newly recruited police officials at different places.
 Training is also being given at the recruitment training centre of Bhondsi in district Gurgaon and last month 160 constables have passed out from here and pass out programme has also been decided for the month of April, May and June. He said that 11000 constables would soon be recruited in the State.
          He said that the proposal to set up four new women police stations in the state. He said that five new women PCRs are deployed at Gurgaon which is a sensitive district. He said that Haryana police is committed towards protection of women and in the cases related to women, most of the accused have been arrested within 24 hours.
